RW04 VIDEO RECORDING of SET PIECE

We are grateful to Lizzie McCall and her Dad Alex for providing this example of a video submission, with piano part provided by Morag Taylor.  Not only does Lizzie give a beautiful performance, but she introduces herself clearly.  Providing an historical background to her pieces is a helpful added touch. Lizzie has chosen good lighting and a relaxed setting.  Anyone experiencing difficulty with video recordings please get in touch.

PRIVACY OF VIDEO RECORDINGS

Information will be published later today with instructions about how to submit video recordings. In the meantime, please be assured that only relevant festival personnel and the adjudicators will have access to the video submissions.  None will be made public without the specific consent of the Applicant, and if appropriate the Performer.  Videos submitted will not be stored by the Charity but will be deleted one month after the end of Festival Week.

REQUEST FOR OFFICIAL ACCOMPANIMENTS

Anyone who requires a pre-recorded accompaniment should get in touch with the festival now.  If sending in scanned copied of piano music please make sure they are absolutely clear.  The music should be flat and uncreased, in good light and the scan should cover the whole page with no cut off bars.  Many thanks for your help with this.

RETURN OF TROPHIES

It is not practical to physically return trophies at the moment.  Please send in a picture of your trophy to the Festival info@nespa.scot and this will be "awarded" in lieu of the real thing until we escape lockdown.  Many thanks.
